Refund & Cancellation Policy

This refund and cancellation policy applies to all subscription plans and services offered by ReelGenix, operated by Mannu Rai (Sole Proprietor).

Subscription Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account Settings > Billing page, or by emailing [email protected].
  • Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will retain access to all features of your plan until the billing period expires.
  • After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan.
  • There are no cancellation fees or penalties.

Refund Policy

As ReelGenix is a digital service with immediate access upon payment, all sales are generally final. However, we offer refunds in the following cases:

Eligible for Refund

  • Double or overcharge: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription period due to a billing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
  • Service unavailability: If the ReelGenix platform experiences extended downtime (more than 72 hours continuously) during your billing period and you are unable to use the service, you may request a pro-rated refund.
  • Unauthorized transaction: If a payment was made without your authorization, contact us immediately for a full refund.

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Partial billing periods or unused credits within an active subscription.
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (as AI output is inherently variable).
  • Failure to use the service during the subscription period.
  • Downgrading to a lower plan mid-cycle (access continues until period end).

Failed Video Generation

If a video generation fails due to a technical error on our end, the credit used for that generation is automatically refunded to your account. No action is needed from your side.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email us at [email protected] with subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your registered email address, transaction ID or payment reference, and reason for the refund.
  3. We will review your request within 3-5 business days.
  4. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Plan Upgrades & Downgrades

  • Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher plan, the new plan takes effect immediately. You will be charged the difference for the remaining billing period.
  • Downgrades: When downgrading, the current plan remains active until the end of the billing period. The lower plan takes effect from the next billing cycle.
